For those of you that don't know, there is a great resource right here in Dallas, TX on Able Ln. The AFB offers a resource center that focuses on independent living and showcases products and tools to help people with vision impairment learn to live independently!

Something for Texas

Here is a pic from a recent event we did for the American Foundation for the Blind.  It is a centerpiece featuring good ol' Texas cattle.  They are wearing necklaces made from copper wire and oncidium orchids, and are trudging through a bed of magenta carnations.

I try to do serious work. I honestly do.  I sit and I try to force my brain to dream up enormously tall arrangements of pink roses and stargazers, and instead... my brain gives me cows.  What is a girl to do?
